If you're planning to apply to college in Florida for Fall 2027, knowing the deadlines is a smart first step. Whether you're aiming for Early Action to hear back sooner, considering Early Decision for your top choice, or exploring Rolling Admission schools that review applications as they come in, this guide can help you stay ahead.

PEAK has gathered important dates for both public and private colleges across the state, from large universities to smaller private schools. Think of this as a cheat sheet for making sure no deadline or opportunity gets missed. And remember, application timelines can change, so it's always a good idea to double-check each college's website, especially this cycle: several Florida public universities have added new Early Decision options for the first time.

This table includes a selection of Florida's public and private colleges with known Early Action (EA), Early Decision (ED), Regular Decision (RD), and Rolling Admission deadlines for students applying during the 2026-2027 cycle. Confirm all dates on each school's official admissions website.

A note on this cycle's biggest change: UF and FSU have both added a binding Early Decision option for students entering Fall 2027, on top of their existing Early Action plans. Early Decision means committing to enroll if admitted, so it's worth a real conversation before choosing that path over the non-binding Early Action route.
